Roll up, Roll up! The Carnatini Sisters present the incredible, indelible, inedible Circus! Circus! comes to town, and everyone is all of a dither. The ladies are intrigued by the handsome exotic ringmaster, the men pretend not to care, but really they are rather interested in the agility of the trapeze artists, while children search down the sides of the sofa looking for the few pence it will cost to enter into a fantasy world, populated by big-footed clowns, ferocious lions and candy floss. This is interactive theatre, where willing audience members will play both circus and towns folk. We discover that the ordinary is not so ordinary and the exotic not so exotic, while at the same time finding inner, hidden, death-defying talents! Circus! coming to a town near you! Time: 2pm (off site performance at St Vincents Hospital 11.30am) Price: Free (Booking essential)

THEATRE AD INFINITUM (UK) presents
Translunar Paradise at 8pm Price €15. Translunar Paradise takes you on a journey of life, death, and enduring love. After his wife passes away, William escapes to a paradise of fantasy and past memories, a place far from the reality of his grief. Returning from beyond the grave, Rose revisits her widowed companion to perform one last act of love: to help him let go. Using a live accordion accompaniment this exquisite piece of mask and movement theatre was an award winning sellout at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2011. Translunar Paradise is a co-production with The Lowry, Salford Quays, Midlands Arts Centre (MAC) & BE Festival, Birmingham and The Ustinov, Bath. ‘An admirable, infinitely gentle and wordless story of loss and remembrance’ The Times (4 stars)
