Ink

Image from Ink exhibition by Aidan KellyThe exhibition Ink will also tour to a number of venues in Tipperary during the month of May.

Ink is a Bealtaine-commissioned exhibition featuring the work of photographer Aidan Kelly, an exploration of why people tattoo their bodies. The exhibition examines diverse ways of ageing and whether the meaning of tattoos changes over time as people age.  During the tour in Tipperary photographer Aidan Kelly will set up his mobile photographic studio to take shots of local older people and their tattoos – a selection of images from each shoot will be included in the travelling exhibition.
